Can French- or Spanish-speaking kids use these books to learn English?

Absolutely! Half the puzzles go from French or Spanish to English, the instructions are provided in both languages, and the answers show every word in both languages.

How does the fillable PDF work?

Open the PDF in a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari) or a free app such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, type the answers right into the squares, and save. Or print it and use a pencil.

Can kids use a tablet or laptop?

Yes. Most tablets and laptops can open the fillable PDF. Some basic phone PDF apps don’t allow typing.

Does my child need to know French or Spanish already?

Canadian French. The books use Canadian English and French vocabulary.

Is the Spanish suitable for learners in different countries?

Yes. The books use common Latin American Spanish, such as jugo, carro and computadora. Most of the vocabulary is understood across the Spanish-speaking world.

Do the books include pronunciation audio?

Yes. Every book has a free listening page where you can hear each French or Spanish word, one at a time or all in a row, at normal or slow speed. Audio works on most phones, tablets and computers with an internet connection. The voice depends on your device. If your device doesn’t have a French or Spanish voice, try another browser or device.
