Hands & Hoots
Meet Hands & Hoots, our ASL alphabet puzzle collection! Discover 50 themed adventure books across two age groups: 5–8 and 8–12. Each book includes 100 puzzles to help kids practise reading fingerspelling, one word at a time.
These books offer fun practice with the ASL alphabet (fingerspelling). They are not a full ASL course.
Every book also comes with phone play. A private link in your PDF opens the puzzles in your phone or tablet browser, with no app and no download. Progress is saved on your device, and answer checking is built in.
How the Puzzles Work
Each illustrated hand represents a letter of the ASL alphabet. Kids read the hands from left to right to spell each word. An ASL alphabet chart appears at the bottom of every puzzle page, and the answers are at the back of the book.
